Whatever your practice, we’d love to help you bring your retreat to life in The Woods.

Tailor your retreat around the different spaces within The Woods, creating a journey that works for your practice and the experience you want to create. Gather in natural glades amongst the trees, immerse yourself deeper beneath the canopy, or step out to the edge of the woods and take in expansive views across the rolling Wiltshire countryside.

Alongside the spaces you use for your retreat, there are hidden corners for your guests to discover in their own time, from the Perch, our treetop seat, to the giant tree swing, whimsical fairy doors and our enchanting wishing tree. During moments of rest and downtime, guests can wander and explore, finding their own quiet corners and special places within The Woods.

Become a Guardian of the Woods

For almost 20 years, our family has cared for The Woods at Oakley, slowly restoring this ancient woodland and nurturing the wildlife that calls it home. By sharing The Woods with people who love it as much as we do, we can help fund our ongoing woodland management to help it thrive in the face of ash dieback.

So to host your retreat in the woods we invite you to become a Guardian of The Woods at Oakley, joining a special community of people who want to share their practice in a beautiful natural setting, connect with like-minded practitioners and help care for these precious ancient woods.

For £95 per year, you receive exclusive access to book The Woods at Oakley for your retreats, with no fixed venue-hire fee. Instead, we ask for 20% of your net ticket revenue, meaning we grow together. Guardians also receive 20% off additional facilities and hire items.
